The Decadent MOA Brownie



250g unsalted butter

1 1/2 cups caster sugar

100g hunted + gathered almond chocolate spread

3 eggs

1 cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

a double espresso shot of your favourite MOA blend

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

 1 1/2 cups of plain flour




Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. In small saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Stir in the sugar and continue cooking for 2 minutes, whisking constantly. Remove from the heat and stir in the almond chocolate spread. Pour the butter, sugar and chocolate spread into a standing mixer, add in cocoa powder, eggs, salt, baking powder, espresso shots, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined. Stir in the flour until just combined. Spread into baking pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes, until a tester comes out mostly clean. The edges should be set and the centre should still look slightly moist. Drizzle over some more almond chocolate spread and serve.
